What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is a team based game using realistic imitation firearms (RIF) that shoot out a 6mm plastic pellet.

The game day will involve different game scenarios, some being short games and others will last several hours. Usually there will be an objective for your team (locating, disarming an item or defending its position for example).

I have my own gun

Great! As long as it meets the chrono rules, then you are more than welcome to use it.

What kit do I need?

Start off simple eye protection and boots are the essentials, have a look at what other players wear and make your own decisions. The sport can be a cheap or as expensive as you make it.

If you don’t have any camo gear, fear not, just turn up in something you don’t mind getting muddy.

We hire out weapons and sell BB’s / smoke / bangs (if using our guns we insist you use our BB’s).

Wow that sounds good – I want a RIF and I want it NOW!

Hold your horses! We hire out weapons, come down and give it a try first.

There are many different load outs to consider first, you may just end up spending money of a gun that you regret buying. In addition to different styles of shooting (sniper etc) you also need to consider how it is powered (electric / gas / spring).

In order to legally purchase your own RIF, you need a UKARA license. To get a UKARA you need to be a member of the club and have played at LEAST 3 times over a period of no less than 2 months.

Club membership is £30 per annum, this will give you your UKARA and also £5 discount off every game!
